This is a picture looking out at the Lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It looks completely different than we remember it from years ago. It used have stagnant water in it and nobody was ever out there or anywhere near it and certainly not swimming in it. That was except us. We used to sneak a bottle of champagne and glasses out there, sit in the sand and sip our champagne, all by ourselves, watching the sunset…………..boy has it changed.
After a great vacation, today is the day to head on home. For breakfast we decided to head to the beach side restaurant at the hotel. It was a beautiful morning and we enjoyed probably the “most” expensive breakfast we’ve ever had. It was good………..but this good?
Somehow $14.00 each for pancakes seems a little high. Oh well, as they say, it’s only money.
One last sunset. It was much prettier in person but it’s hard to get a good shot through the window of an airplane. This is a reflection of the sunset in the clouds over the wing.
It’s now back to the real world. Thanksgiving is later this week and Christmas is just right around the corner. Certainly a busy time of year but It is good to be home.
