I was finally able to download the missing pictures from yesterday. Here we are along with our niece Christina Huizar.
And here is a picture taken through the fog of Alcatraz as we left San Francisco.
We must be getting old, we both ended up with heartburn after the tasting so it was back to the cabin for a while. A few movies later, we made our way to our dinner reservation at 7:00. We ate in the Allegra dining room which is quite beautiful. Unfortunately our cabin is closer to the front of the ship and the Allegra dining room is all the way at the aft. (Did we mention? This is a very, very big ship.) And it is on Deck 6 but you can’t just take the elevator down to 6 to get there. From mid ship on 6 you have to go up to 7, walk toward the aft and then go back down to 6. Not really a big deal for most but when you have some difficulty walking, it’s a long way there and back. We had a lovey dinner though and the service was much better than we had on Sunday night.
Tomorrow is Santa Barbara. They don’t dock so if you want to go ashore you have to take the water shuttle. We are planning on staying on board but who knows what the day will bring.
Our morning coffee just arrived, so until next time,
Hugs,
John and Robin
