Finally it’s embarkation day. We boarded the magnificent Majestic Princess from the Los Angeles/San Pedro port. Here we are sitting on the sofa in our cabin. We made it!!!
And we are off.
We were off to a good start.
With full stomachs we headed back to our cabin to rest up and decide what’s next. Here’s a shot of our cabin from our balcony. It’s a lovely cabin.
After changing for dinner it was time for a before dinner drink. We found a quiet spot in the Crown Grill Bar where we each ordered a French Martini. We will definitely be back (probably Sunday night).
We had dinner in one of the specialty restaurants, the Crown Grill. John had a filet and Robin had lobster. The food was wonderful but look what was on the desert menu.
For those that know us, you know we had to order the Salted Carmel Crème Brûlée Cheesecake. There should have been a picture to insert here but it got inhaled waaaay to fast. Next time we’ll try to use some restraint and take a picture first.
We had planned to go to a show after dinner but by the time we finished it was late and we were tired. This is a very big ship with a lot of walking. So back to the cabin to settle in for the night.
Tomorrow is another day, and an “At Sea” day to boot.
Hugs to all,
John and Robin
