Day 13–March 31, 2018–At Sea

IMG_0381

Another perfectly”do nothing” day at sea.  It was very overcast all day long so our attempt at eating lunch outside by the pool just didn’t work.  We ended up picking up our food and bringing it back to the cabin.  We again watched several movies some that we even caught the titles.  The Founder and Big Fish were two that we actually saw start to finish.

We had our last ukulele lesson in preparation for our big performance tomorrow afternoon on the big stage in the Princess Theater.  Once again we will put our bright aloha shirts on and look the part even if we don’t strum the part.  I’m sure we’ll have fun, we are both able to strum very quietly and John’s pretty good at the sing part.  And who knows, maybe we’ll even remember to smile and look like we’re having a good time.

Finally, last night we found Robin’s cousin Janie.  We suspected she was on the same trip and have been looking for her everywhere we go on the ship.  Last night we were sitting in the Crooner’s Lounge listening to our ukulele teacher, Tiki Dave play electric guitar and in walked Janie and her husband Ron.  It was wonderful to see them again.  It has been many years and they really haven’t changed at all.  Well, I guess we’re all a little older but we would have recognized her anywhere.  Loved seeing her again after all these years.

This is the 3rd night in a row to move our clocks ahead.  We are now back on “at home” time.  I guess our trip is starting to slow down.

Hugs,

John and Robin
