Today was kind of a kick back day. We took our time over coffee in the room watching the ocean pass by. The sunrise was so-so but it turned into a beautiful day.
Once again we attempted to play the ukulele in our ukulele class. We are having a lot of fun but we’re not so sure about performing in front of an audience at the end of the cruise. We better start practicing “air” ukulele. We’ll keep working on it but the outcome is questionable. I guess we will see when the time comes.
The afternoon was spent watching The Greatest Showman. All our friends and family loved it and they were absolutely right. It was a great movie.
Following a great dinner in the main dining room, we headed to one of the many lounges to hear the second half of the Enrichment Presentation of Cutting Edge Research Into the DaVinci Code. We really have no idea why we felt the need to go. Yesterdays lecture left us completely lost and today’s lecture did the same thing. I guess it makes us feel like intellectuals to sit through both parts. But the truth is, we basically have know idea what he was talking about. Oh well, it’s part of the overall experience.
Tomorrow is our “BIG” day. It’s ZIP line day. Hopefully we’ll have some pictures to share showing our great adventure.
Until then,
Hugs,
John and Robin
Oh wait, we did have a drink this evening and it wouldn’t be a blog post without a picture of our cocktails. This time Manhattan for John (eat your heart out Rog) and a French Martini for Robin.
Looks great. I will try to catch up in California in July!!
