Today was a lazy day here on our last day on Kauai. The morning started with an exciting trip to the laundry room so that we have clean clothes to pack for our trip to Oahu tomorrow. Met a very nice gentlemen that’s here on vacation from Anchorage so the time went by fairly quickly visiting about Kauai and Alaska.
After our visit to Kauai Kookie a few days ago, we had hoped to go back for lunch again before we leave. Today was the day and a nice way to break up the kick-back day at the condo.
Here’s a peek of the inside.
Once again we had a great lunch. On the way back we decided we wanted pizza for dinner (we know……not exactly the Hawaiian experience but it sounded good). While in Kalaheo for lunch we decided to stop at a local pizza shop and get a half cook pizza to have later tonight.
It’s a little pale but here’s the before it is baked for the second time.
One last Mai Tai at Joe’s on the Green at Kiahuna Golf Club and a perfect last night in Poipu.
